lol unlucky zach.. and also i had a look on soundstream.com of the sub i was looking at and it appears to have a 900w rms.. so might just fit in nicely with that 920w amp or even just a 600w amp considering i want to put at least 3/4's of power into the sub to keep it fresh, e.g not overpowering or underpowering it.

u still want to overpower the sub, then just adjust your gains to before where get distortion, no blown sub

In about 2005 one of my mates bought a headunit, 2 x 6x9 speakers, 2 x 6inch speakers, 3x 12" subs and 3 x amps (can't remember specs) from "The Warehouse"lol the brand was Reactor and it set him back $500.

He made a shitty sub box to house the 3 subs (not made to correct size) and hooked it up himself. For a laugh we entered it in a sound off, and he came third with 144dblol He beat alot of cars that had spent thousands on their system.

If you just want big doof doof, go the cheap shit and crank the arse outta it!

im actually using a Sound Storm Laboratories F2500D at the moment, it does the job for low/mid level music, but when u crank it it loses its clarity and starts to get a bit loose. picked it up for $250, its rated 900wRms at4ohm, and 1500wRms at2, but i can tell you its no where near that.

ohh ok fair enough ey.. i looked at the specs on this 1300w amp.. and had a search around on youtube and reviews etc.. and its gotten a pretty good quality for price rating.. and its S/N and RMS is pretty damn good too.. considering the sub im getting is only 900RMS anyways.. so should work out alright.
